The Mid-West 3‑ and 5‑valve DP manifolds are differential pressure manifolds designed for situations where direct mounting to an instrument is impractical or undesirable.
They are intended for use by Australian plumbers, instrumentation technicians and contractors who need a compact, durable manifold to isolate, balance and test differential pressure instruments while providing bubble‑tight shut‑off and pulsation control.
These manifolds are manufactured from 316 / 316L stainless steel to Mid‑West Instrument requirements and are rated to 6,000 PSIG (413 bar) at 212°F (100°C). They feature chrome‑plated stems to reduce galling, PTFE/graphite gland packing with a metal seal ring for leak‑free operation, adjustable gland nut and lock nut to set packing compression, and a precisely machined bonnet to protect stem threads and extend valve life. Test ports (¼” FNPT) are provided on models 107467, 107469 and 107470 for use as test connections, but the 113343 mini‑manifold does not have test ports. Manifolds are supplied with isolated stem threads and an integral body seat to reduce leak points and fugitive emissions. Swivel gauge adapters are available for specific instrument‑to‑manifold connections; compatibility notes apply for certain Mid‑West gauge models.

Common Applications
- Installed where direct mounting to the instrument is impractical, allowing manifolds to be mounted to process lines instead of the gauge body.
- Used to isolate and equalise differential pressure instruments during commissioning and maintenance in industrial and commercial HVAC systems.
- Employed as the isolation and test point for hydraulic and process systems where bubble‑tight shut‑off and leak‑free operation are required.
- Used on instrumentation racks and test benches where multiple valves (three or five) are needed to balance and vent differential pressure lines.
- Specified where reduced fugitive emissions and long service life are required, such as chemical plant and petrochemical instrument panels.
Manifolds are produced to Mid‑West Instrument exact requirements and are available with material of construction in accordance with NACE MR0175 on request. Test ports are provided on applicable models for connection of test equipment. Customers must specify process type (gas or liquid) and preferred manifold mounting location at time of order. Swivel gauge adapters are offered to adapt instrument connections to manifold connections.
Please note that some Mid‑West models (130 and 140) are not compatible with swivel adapters due to centreline dimensions.
The manifolds are built for reliable, leak‑resistant operation under the published maximum working pressure and temperature ratings. They incorporate features to limit leak points and protect stem threads, supporting long‑term service life when installed and maintained according to standard practice.
These manifolds are a practical, trade‑focused choice for protecting instruments, enabling safe isolation and test access. They are backed by Mid‑West Instrument production standards and should provide dependable service when specified with the correct model, connection size and materials for the intended application.
