Description

ValuMass Series 400 VAL Thermal Mass Inline Flow Meters

The ValuMassTM product family, which includes EPI’s Series 400 inline thermal mass flow metre, provides affordable solutions for a range of flow applications without sacrificing the high quality of EPI’s flow measurement equipment. For non-hazardous applications, this inline thermal mass flowmeter is especially made with a standard NEMA 4X Rated (IP66) enclosure.

The ValuMassâ„¢ Series 400 thermal flow metre features the same unique engineering, including two RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) sensing elements. These sensors, which use our proprietary temperature compensation techniques, are made of reference-grade platinum, ceramic, glass, and stainless steel. For superior protection, abrasion, and corrosion resistance, they are slipped in a stainless steel cover.

Key Specifications:

  • Meter Type: Inline, integrating seamlessly into your system.
  • Enclosure: Standard NEMA 4X Rated (IP66), ensuring protection against dust, water, and corrosion.
  • Warranty: Confidence with 1-4 years of coverage.
  • Certifications: CE approval, meeting high standards of quality and safety.
  • Material Composition: Constructed with reference-grade platinum and robust stainless steel for extended durability.

The ValuMass Series 400 is manufactured for excellence, featuring:

  • Dual RTD sensing elements that enhance the accuracy of temperature measurements crucial for precise flow metering.
  • Proprietary temperature compensation technology that adjusts readings across a wide temperature range.
  • Stainless steel sheathing that fortifies the sensor assembly, boosting its resistance to abrasion and corrosion.
  • An easy installation process thanks to its design that fits standard pipe sizes from 1/4″ through 2″.
  • Linearizing electronics within the meter’s enclosure, optimizing measurement accuracy and repeatability.
