- Minor Service Requirements
For minor service conducted in the process plant, the client must ensure sufficient clearance around the valve. If the height of the valve exceeds the limits set by SWA: WHS regulations, the client is responsible for providing a secure lifting or rail platform to facilitate safe inspection and maintenance. - Major Service Protocol
For valves due for major service, such as the five-year parts replacement, the valve must be removed and placed on the ground or a workbench. Prior to service, it must be professionally cleaned with warm water to ensure safe handling and effective maintenance. - Client Responsibilities During Service Visits
When our technicians arrive to perform service in a plant, the client must ensure that the work area is safe and free from hazards. This includes providing access to necessary utilities and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed to protect both our personnel and plant operations. - Transporting Valves for Service
If sending a valve to our service facility, the client must securely package the valve for transport. All valve name tags and switches must remain attached to the valve. Failure to do so may result in delayed service or additional charges for reidentification and handling.
